How much does a French drain cost?
The price depends on the job, including the choice of an interior or exterior drain. The estimate visit is free, with no deposit: book it online in 30 seconds.
How do I know if my French drain is clogged?
Over time, a drain clogs with sediment and roots. The signs that make our clients call: water or moisture in the basement, or a white deposit (efflorescence) on the walls. Only a camera inspection shows the drain's real condition without digging.
Interior or exterior French drain?
We do both. An exterior drain is installed by excavating around the foundation down to the footing. An interior drain is used when you can't dig outside, for example during a basement renovation. We recommend one or the other at the visit.
What does a French drain installation include?
Excavation down to the footing, cleaning the wall and a coat of sprayed polyurea, then a perforated drain, a geotextile membrane, 3/4 clean gravel and cleanouts. We backfill and grade so water flows away from the house.
Is the French drain guaranteed?
Yes, in writing, against malfunction: the drain must carry the water away. The warranty stays with the house if you sell it.
